Families can drive through the gleaming stationary display of emergency vehicles, with Big Santa greeting you as you enter Foundation Meadows Park. Kids of all ages can experience the joy of giving while enjoying seeing Santa, lights, treats and more!

8th Annual Wheeler Bearcat Holiday Craft Show on Nov. 16 from 9-3 to support all of Wheeler HS & Union Township MS Sports! Over 75 crafters, no admission and something for everyone. Even bounce house and face painting for the kids.

Valparaiso University invites the public to a night of Halloween fun with the annual Community Trick or Treat event on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the Harre Union.

Valparaiso University and the National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research invite members of the public to experience a free exhibit about climate science, including stories from people from around the country whose lives have been impacted by the changing climate.

The Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County will host its 16th annual Earth Day celebration from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Porter County Expo Center. The event is free to the public and will feature an array of vendors, wildlife shows, a magician performance, interactive children's games, guest speakers, birdhouse building, live music, food, giveaways and an estimated 2,000 attendees.
