COMEDY ON THE ROCKS

Katie Meiners is a funny and energetic stand-up comic who performs on club stages throughout the Tri-State Area. She’s a graduate of The Second City Chicago’s Comedy Writing Program and loves weaving together jokes with crowdwork and improvisation. Katie won the inaugural Chicago Comedy Championship as well as the Smoke Break Comedy Competition early in her pursuit of comedy excellence. She’s worked with hundreds of incredible comedians including too many Saturday Night Live legends, social media stars, podcasters and talented road comics to list. When not on stage, you can find her oversharing elsewhere.

Then enjoy a hearty meal at one of the prime Amish banquet homes. After lunch, you will be guided by a step-on tour guide through a variety of stops highlighting the Amish culture.

In route to each location, the fully narrated tour includes the history of Christmas traditions from a variety of cultural groups such as the Greek, Polish, German, Italian, Irish, and Chinese. The Downtown Chicago Christmas Bakery Bus route focuses solely on stops in downtown Chicago. In addition to visiting delicious bakeries, we will see the Macy's Christmas Great Tree.
