Help us spread some holiday cheer! Join Valpo Parks and the Dunes Leathernecks Marine Corp League for their largest fundraiser of the year, the Toys for Tots toy drive.
Families can drive through the gleaming stationary display of emergency vehicles, with Big Santa greeting you as you enter Foundation Meadows Park. Kids of all ages can experience the joy of giving while enjoying seeing Santa, lights, treats and more!
New, unwrapped toys will be accepted on behalf of Toys for Tots. The Dunes Leathernecks Marine Corp League will be present to accept donations drive-thru style while you enjoy the lights, wave to Santa, and sing along to your favorite Christmas songs. We look forward to helping fulfill the holiday wishes of children within our community!
If you are unable to attend the event, Valpo Parks will be accepting Toys for Tots donations Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm through December 14th. A box will be located in the Valpo Parks office for new, unwrapped toy donations. Monetary donations also accepted.
Toys for Tots
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
The primary goal of Toy for Tots is to delivery, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
