This is a quarterly artist reception for artists displayed at Roots Cafe and Lower Lincoln. Each quarter VCC is inviting our community to celebrate the works of three local artists, heat their personal stories/creative process, and learn from innovative professionals. This mix + mingle is meant to bring innovative sharing to the forefront for all!
This offering is a direct result of artist roundtable discussions that identified a need for networking opportunities and consistent events for creatives. We are using grant monies awarded in 2023 from the IAC Creative Convergence Program to cater to this need. Creatives of all art forms and levels welcome!
At the heart of this initiative is the Valparaiso Creative Council (VCC). The VCC serves as a bridge to connect artists and the community and delivers exciting arts-based community projects, initiatives, fundraisers, and events.
