Join the Valparaiso Creative Council for their winter artist reception featuring three local artists - Peggy Davis, Debbie Shaffer, and Gretchen Scott. Their work will be on display October 15 - January 10, 2025.
This event will kick off at Lower Lincoln with VCC’s Annual Stakeholder Meeting, featuring Stephanie Swearington (VCC President) and Jessica Corral (VCC Executive Director). They will celebrate all the VCC has accomplished in 2024 and give a fun glimpse of what’s to come for 2025.
Attendees will meet and greet with artists and enjoy signature mocktails and cocktails. Then, VCC will turn on the LIGHT of Innovation. The celebration will then meander to Roots Cafe where creativity takes center stage. Music will fill the space and artists will tell their stories.
At the heart of this initiative is the Valparaiso Creative Council (VCC). The VCC serves as a bridge to connect artists and the community and delivers exciting arts-based community projects, initiatives, fundraisers, and events.
