Thanks to incredible community support, and large donors such as The City of Valpo, Alison + Jeff Quackenbush MD., Porter County community Foundation, and the Dame + Mary Louise Foundation, we were able to raise the funding needed to donate a sculpture for Flounder + Friends Skatepark.

This Celebration will unveil the work of local Sculptor, Chad Copeland, entitled “Eclipse”. Our campaign raised #90kin90days and was the first ambitious public fundraiser ever attempted. VCC’s campaign was matched by an IHCDA grant.

At the heart of this initiative is the Valparaiso Creative Council (VCC). The VCC serves as a bridge to connect artists and the community and delivers exciting arts-based community projects, initiatives, fundraisers, and events.
