The Valparaiso Kiwanis Club Hosts Corn Roast and Summer Concerts

5:00 – 10:00 PM at Central Park Plaza

Valparaiso, IN — The Valparaiso Kiwanis Club hosts its annual corn roast on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, presenting Small Town, a John Mellencamp tribute band at 5:30 pm followed by Resurrection, a Journey tribute band at 8:00 pm. Admission is $25 and includes all-you-can-eat freshly roasted ears of locally grown corn.

The event is a fundraiser for the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club and supports various non-profits assisting children in the northwest Indiana community as well as families in need, including Riley Children’s Hospital, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana, Jacob’s Ladder and the Valparaiso Family YMCA.

In addition to the entertainment, there will be a designated kids area with face painting, chalk painting, assorted crafts and more as well as a beer garden for those 21 and older. Various food trucks will also be on site. Tickets are available on Eventbrite for a small fee or from a local Valpo Noon Club Kiwanian.
