The Vagina Monologues, written by playwright and activist V (formerly Eve Ensler), is based on dozens of interviews with women addressing women’s sexuality and the social stigma surrounding rape and abuse, creating a new conversation about and with women.
Each year, thousands of benefit events take place produced by volunteer activists in the U.S. and around the world, educating millions of people about the reality of violence against women and girls.
This event features Nina Donovan, author of Nasty Woman, which was read at the Women’s March on Washington in 2017.
