Kids are back to school, but the family-fun continues as everyone
is gearing up for the Valparaiso Popcorn Festival.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 10, 2011 and celebrate the 33rd year of the
Popcorn Fest. Get on your mark, set, and go in the Popcorn Panic, a
five-mile walk/run. Shop for handmade crafts at great local vendor booths.
Get the best spot to watch the Nation’s First and Only Popcorn Parade.

Visit the market weekly to shop for fresh local produce, handmade products and beautiful plants and flowers. The Market will begin the season on Courthouse lawn and will be relocated mid-August to the NEW Central Park Plaza.
The Central Park Plaza Market is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays; 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. from June through October

held in Downtown Valparaiso on Saturday, September 24. Sample over 125 different
styles of beers from America’s best craft brewers and vote for your favorite
Indiana craft beer as we award the coveted HOOSIER BREW award to the top vote
recipient. Valpo Brewfest is a celebration of the great craft beer and the
