fall
events
Kids are back to school, but the family-fun continues as everyone
is gearing up for the Valparaiso Popcorn Festival.
Popcorn Festival
Mark your calendar
for Saturday, September 11, 2010 and plan on coming to the 32nd Annual
Popcorn Fest. Get on your mark, set, and go in the Popcorn Panic, a
five-mile walk/run. Shop for handmade crafts at great local vendor booths.
Get the best spot to watch the Nation’s First and Only Popcorn Parade.
Support our local growers as you enjoy the bounty of bedding plants in early summer, the freshest vegetables from summer through fall, and the handiwork of outdoor decorations to adorn your garden or lawn. The Central Park Plaza Market, located on Central Park Plaza, is open on Tuesdays: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturdays: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., June through October.

Canadian Brass - November 5, 2010
Enjoy the musical talents of Canadian Brass, performing on November 5 at the Valparaiso University Chapel. The well-known brass quintet, having just celebrated its 39th season, has a long history of recording classical repertoire. They have a special affinity for Baroque music, which requires the brilliance and musical structure that has become the Canadian Brass trademark.
