In-line Skates, skateboards, and bikes are prohibited in the downtown area during the festival.

Dogs and other pets should be kept at home during the festival

Directions

From the West,
take I 80/90 or I 94 E. to I 65 S. to US 30 E. approximately 10 miles to Hayes Leonard School - SOUTH Popcorn Shuttle area.

From the East,
take I 80/90 or I 94 W. to St. Rd. 49 S. Turn right on to Vale Park Rd. (400 N.) Follow signs - NORTH Popcorn Shuttle area.


Handicap Parking Information

From US 30 E. to St. Rd. 2, turn North (Washington St.). Proceed to barricade and turn East (South St.), go over tracks to stop sign at Franklin St. Continue North on Franklin St. to Monroe St. Parking in Bartholomew Funeral. (Must have proper ID).

See the Grand Opening Video!

On August 6, 2011, the Summer Rhapsody Music Festival officially marked the Grand Opening of Central Park Plaza – the most recent addition to Valparaiso’s downtown streetscape. The Porter Health Amphitheater hosts events and performances. The Central Park Plaza Market brings fresh-from-the-farm produce, plants, and handicrafts to the area. The Splashing Fountain delights children of all ages.
