About Us
“To enhance the Community through
Festivals, events, and partnerships.”
VCFE Mission
For shopping, dining, entertainment, or just a relaxing night out on the town, “Take it to the Square” and explore the wonders of the New Valparaiso Downtown.
The Old Courthouse Square and the tree-lined streets and avenues that make up Valparaiso’s historic district offer a wealth of opportunity for those who enjoy the beautiful blending of the old and the new. Whether your passion is fine to casual dining, antiquing, shopping for the freshest seasonal products, plants, and more…when you take it to the square, the possibilities are unlimited!
Valparaiso Community Festivals & Events, Inc. (VCFE) is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization that is dedicated to sustaining the vitality of downtown Valparaiso through the cultivation of partnerships, the creation and promotion of the many festivals, events, and retail establishments that are a vital part of Valparaiso’s downtown. Whether you’re discovering downtown for the very first time…or rediscovering your favorite places and exploring the brand new spaces…make time to spend an hour, an afternoon, or an entire day in the downtown area and you’ll clearly see what all the buzz is about!
Other than giving the gift of your time, you can be a part of the success of the VCFE by becoming a member. We currently offer four different membership levels to accommodate every level of those who wish to be a vital part of VCFE.
