Support our local growers as you enjoy the bounty of bedding plants in early summer, the freshest vegetables from summer through fall, and the handiwork of outdoor decorations to adorn your garden or lawn.

The Farmers’ Market, located on Central Park Plaza, is open on Saturdays in May and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from June through October.

New market hours beginning on June 2 - October 31:
Tuesday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Thursdays & Saturdays: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

2nd Annual Popcorn Festival Poster Design Contest Deadline: April 13, 2010

The Valparaiso Community Festivals & Events, Inc., is launching its 2nd annual Poster Design Contest for the 2010 festival. Graphic artists will have a high-profile opportunity to showcase their talent by entering the contest. The winning entry will receive $1,000 as well as the honor of having their design featured as the centerpiece on all promotional material for the festival held every September in Valparaiso, Indiana.
